Auto Enrolment and Seasonal Workers

Guidance for clients employing seasonal staff.

If you employ seasonal staff over the Christmas period, or have staff whose pay and hours fluctuate, then you will have automatic enrolment duties. You will need to take into account:

  • their varying earnings and hours
  • that they may join and leave in the middle of pay periods
